To make a better future for developing countries by repairing environmental inhibitors and empowering communities to thrive independently as opposed to depend.
The Not-For-Profit Organization called 'GiftofGiving-Umoja' was independently founded in 2017 by Winnie Julot, Candace Minott, and Adriesca Julot.
All three with the common desire to bring freedom, justice, hope, & equality to all peoples of the world.
We carry out this virtuous goal by adhering to the following four objectives:
1- Provide supplies for hospitals in developing countries
2- Provide supplies for schoolchildren in developing countries
3- Promote public education on sanitation and sustainable lifestyle choices in developing countries
4- Promote the best interests of Indigenous community members in developing countries
GiftofGiving-Umoja's first official journey brought them to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti in September 2017.
Here, they distributed gloves, soap, socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes and washcloths to patients at Port-au-Prince General Hospital.
They next visited a local school, Institution Mixte Jean-Charles Pelais; where they distributed pencils, erasers, crayons, and notebooks to schoolchildren.
